The project supports all three open flavours of Modbus (ASCII, RTU and TCP) and can act as a slave or a master for any of these implementations.
The system is implemented with a very small footprint and negligable continuning memory allocation, suitable for embedded java products such as the Dallas Semi TINI ( http://www.ibutton.com/TINI/ ).
