In LPG gantry loading system at our refinery, flow rate based on pulse/unit (K FACTOR) over frequency O/P from E&H MFM (Promass 83) is communicated to Danload batch controller 6000. However following observations were noted:
1. If the pulse width is high like 50 ms, flow communicated to DANLOAD 6000 is incorrect despite right K factor. The pulse width when adjusted to 1ms, the flow communicated over frequency O/P from MFM to batch controller was accurate.
2. If K factor is chosen high like 100 pulse/unit, the resolution in flow communicated over frequency O/P is higher, however, when K factor is low like 10 then resolution is lower.
Any suitable explanations are most welcome.
