can I communicate between Speedtronic MKVI and MKV with Kepserver and display data using rsview32?

 

You can do that easily and without GSM with this server:

If you wanted to communicate to the Speedtronic MKVI and MKV with GSM you can use this one:

Once you installed the server, you can connect your RSView32 OPC client to the server and you will have all your data

We do not have any drivers that specifically support these devices at this time. You could use our EGD driver to communicate with them if they are configured for EGD. Bridging data between them would be done using our LinkMaster Product.

With OPC server for GSM, do we need GSM application running on the OPC server machine? Or should it be running on any node such as Cimplicity HMI which is a gateway to Mark VI?

Actually you can. Both devices support EGD or Modbus TCP which are protocols that Kepware has drivers for. To get the data between the 2 devices you would also need our LinkMaster product which is a bridging software. LinkMaster can be configured to read data from an input server and write it to an output server. It can run in the back so that you can set it and forget it.

No, you don't need to have the GSM application running on the OPC Server machine. the opc server will communicate remotely to the GSM application.
