I'd like to write a ladder diagram compiler and wonder if there is any book or write up info available on this topic.

Or a sample code may be?

Any suggestion would also be appreciated.

You can take a look at ClassicLadder by searching at www.sourceforge.net for an example.
It's not a compiler, more an interpretor...
