One needs to start somewhere and that is where I am in a useful understanding of ladder logic. You can be helpful is suggesting a book or other that starts at the very lowest level. I learn well from the printed word but at this point and on this subject I am at ground level. Thank you in advance for your help.

Ray-
You may want to check out a book entitled "Programmable Logic Controllers- an introduction" by W. Bolton. This is a pretty good book to start with. Provides basic examples for different controllers. I got mine through Amazon.com.

Hello Ray
A book that I have used in the past to get started was called:
Electricians Guide to Programmable Controllers.
Author : Richard A. Cox
I do not have the ISBN number to give you or I would.
