Terry:

I sell such a driver for Ethernet/IP.

I call the library "CELL" - CIP/Ethernet Library for Linux. This library is specifically tailored to communicate with an Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLC.

As of this moment, the library is capable of reading and writing tag data (controller scoped and program scoped). I can also retrieve the complete list of tags within a processor (again, Controller or Program scoped).

The library is not, at this time, capable of reading or writing rung data.

Soon to be supported, reading and writing of user defined structures.

The library is distributed as "open source".

For more information, please feel free to e-mail me off-list.
