I have read with great interest the developments in the LinuxPLC project. As a former coworker of Curts, I know how his distaste for proprietary
automation equipment has fueled the start of this project. It appears the project is progressing quite well. Forgive me for my "management" type
question. Is there an estimated timeline for the completion of a working model?

Hi Sam

Like most Open Source projects, I doubt very much that it will ever be "done". The first pass I would like to have done soon, but that will be a tool not a deployable system. After that it's
all how many bodies we can throw at it. We've slowed down some in the last two weeks, but I'm really trying to fix that. Stay tuned.
