Hi All,

When we connect Load cell at Four Corners, eg Say 500 Kg load cell (4 nos), then how the Effective Capacity is increased to

500 + 500 + 500 + 500 = 2T

Plz explain it??

Because if you put 2T perfectly evenly distributed on the table each load cell will see 1/4 of that. For any load the sum will equal the applied load. But it would be rash to say that the capacity increases by that much, because that is only valid for an evenly distributed load. If you set 2T on one corner or one edge, you can overload the cell or cells in this case.

The total load bearing capacity of all your load cells combined is 2000kg (500kg x 4). When you load the platform or structure, the mechanical force will obviously be distributed over the four load cells or 2000kg. Even the m/v output will give full output at 2000kg.
