We have high vibrations (12-13mm/s) being observed during operation at load gearbox of a Frame 6B machine. The vibrations on the accessory gearbox end and the generator ends are monitored by DCS and are not reading as high.
The load gearbox foundation bolts (M42, I believe) are torqued to 50Nm however, I have not been able to find a drawing that specifies this torque. Staff here believes that the load gearbox on a 6B needs to be 'floating' on the foundation to absorb thermal expansion of the rotor.
