How are the loads being shared in alternators?

Alternators don't share load. The prime movers of the alternators have governors that can be configured to "share" load.

It's called "droop speed control."

There are a couple of other sites mentioned in some of the droop speed control threads on control.com that have some good information.

By the way, what's your definition of "sharing load"?
