Load sharing in alternators

Alternators don't share load. The prime movers of the alternators have governors that can be configured to "share" load.

It's called "droop speed control."

There have been many posts to control.com about droop speed control.

You can also go to http://www.wikipedia.com and look up 'governor'.

There are a couple of other sites mentioned in some of the droop speed control threads on control.com that have some good information.

By the way, what's your definition of "sharing load"?
