I've acquired 2 conveyor units with GE Fanuc PLCs. I received a copy of Logicmaster from the local college but it is the DEMO version. I tried to communicate with the PLC using a RS-232/RS-422 converter we make in-house but it would not communicate. I am in the process of looking for a cable but do not want to spend the money if the software is not going to work for me. I will be writing a simple program involving a few sensors and a motor... that's about it. Anybody used the Logicmaster DEMO?? Thanks!

What version of LM90 Demo are you using and what's the revision of the PLC CPU? Not all versions of LM90 communicate with all CPUs.
