I want to connect an ABB PLC to the protection relay bus (LON Bus). Any suggestion ? Does anybody know if there are protocol converters from LON bus to modbus etc.

ABB Drives group makes a LON interface module for connection to their equip.

we have used them and have around one hundred out in the field and they work
fine.
