Since we cannot include attachments on this board and the last time I gave out my email address I got flooded, I would suggest that you contact your local Siemens Automation distributor. They can get you a ProTool Demo CD that includes demos from the TP170A up to the PC space.
it's not my fault, some long urls (address links) are truncated when posted, that's why i also submitted the tiny url link which is the same as the long one (and works too!) River70s link worked and is also good.
Have you tried contacting your local siemens distributor? try to get on one of the seminars or training courses, the ones that I have attended were free (such a rare word nowadays) and very useful.
My expertise is with the TP070 and S7-200, but i'm willing to help if I can.
Please tell me if you were unable to make the effort to navigate the Siemens website, and it took me about 30 seconds when I did it now, how on earth do you expect to deal with the PLC and HMI program required to get this example to work anyway. Don't expect that the automation list is going to do your project for you too.
