Where can I buy addressable low cost temperature sensors? I'd need to connect more than one per wire. Standard room tempatures 40-120f. Modbus rs485 is perferred.

 

I found a product that might be what you need.

The unit is configurable for up to 8 Abalog/ThermalC/RTD etc. and is addressable for multiable protocols.
Cost about $385 US and lower.

 

I would do some searches on the internet for a good start. There are plenty of wirelss temp sensors and other similar products out there, many can be configured and have addressing available. If you need me to do the searching for you I bill out at $60 / hr.
