We observed that the CPD of a new compressor installed after major inspection is given around 10.4bar @27deg C. Meanwhile during the last major inspection the previous compressor was steam washed and gave around 10.7 bar @ 30deg C. We carried out offline wash like a month ago but CPD is observed coming down.
We suspect bleed valves but mtce claim the valves are fine. Is there a way to test whether bleed valves are passing?
