There's M_stat.exe utility in GE Mark V HMI used to monitor data flow through Modbus protocol. It's meant for troubleshooting purposes.

M_stat runs fine in my case - but the numbers.. I need to know what it represents. Is in KB/sec or events/sec or ??

Not much being discussed in GEI-100517A document...

 

For most of these "utility" applications, there is very little written about their use. Many were left over from development efforts, and incorporated into the distribution software only for obtaining data for factory troubleshooting purposes.

Most of these applications will display a small "help" screen by typing their name in a command prompt window followed by /?, for example:

M_STAT /?

In many cases, all that's documented in written form in a manual is just a regurgitation of this "help" display.
