Hi, I have an application in which the laser distance sensor (output 0-10VDC analog: Wenglor YT series) has to be kept in a magnetic field. This magnetic field is used to magnetise and demagnetise a metal portion on which i need to mount the sensor. How do i calculate whether this magentic field will affect the sensor analog output to the PLC. Is there a filter i need in the system.

I'm haven't worked with a lot with these kind of sensors. Please advice.
