MARK-VI Trip History not displaying the Alarm and Event report along with the Trigger Point.

TCI Alarm history however works perfectly.

If anyone has faced a similar problem please share.

Is it anything to do with TCI version?
the eTCSS version is 04.03.08.
The creation and downloading of reb file has been done correctly.

First and foremost I must ask when this problem started? From your post it is not exactly clear what the problem is that you are trying to describe, and more importantly if it ever worked, or when it stopped working.

TCI alarm and event reports are generated by TCI and put into a file designated by the config.dat file. Usually in Historian_Data.

Triplog files are a completely different service, and are usually put in the Data_Historian folder. Triplog files are configured in the .m6b file using capture blocks. The signals attached to the capture blocks are put into a Triplog_Live folder, and a new file is created each hour. These files are stored for 3 days in history before being deleted. The same signals will be collected when the turbine trips and put into a separate folder for each trip. This is a snapshot of the trip point and 24hours back.

The configuration of the triplog is done using the .reb file, which is then converted and the .rcd file is "downloaded" to the Data_Historian service running on the PC.

If you have made changes to any signals attached to the capture blocks this may cause the Data_Historian to stop working. Any signals attached to capture blocks need to be in an EGD exchange or it will not work. Typically you must download the MKVI. Then update the .hmb and .reb files for each server, and reboot the server after the download.

In the MKVI toolbox, GEI-100278 there is a good description of the Data_Historian service and how to configure it.

But it would help to know when this problem started, to better suggest a way to fix it. I do not think it is a problem related to TCI or its version.

Thanx for the reply.

The problem is appearing right from the initial panel power UP. reb file has been build and downloaded as per the guidelines provided in the manual, Panel and the HMI server was rebooted. The points in the Capture Buffer are all present in EGD also.

Capture buffer was not modified in any point of time.

Awaiting kind response.

Thank you.
