MDS radio used for rtu data exchange

We are experiencing old data flags on the Master side of the rtu's being polled. We are using QEI rtu's server port to the MDS radio, to a master repeater station,from there tcp\ip to master RTU. Has anybody come across a problem like this? any help is appreciated.
