I need some ideas on how to measure smoke from a smokestack on a bbq pit. Not kidding...I'm working on this on a senior project. I need an inexpensive method for measuring smoke density in a relatively small area but susceptible to high temps up to about 350F. Could this be done with a photoelectric sensor (optical obscuration)? Please aid me with your unbounding knowledge.
