Hi, alls.

I want to develop a wireless network between Micrologix 1100. Now I communicate with 2 Micrologix 1100s using a crossover cable (ethernet port).
I try to make the connection via wireless using wifi equipment from some supliers (Belkin, Dlink), but I can not.

Could someone give some guidelines for this development?

ProSoft Technology has a wide range of wireless products. Depending on your requirements (speed, range, FH, DSSS, etc.) you can select from several different types of wireless products.

PMAS provides the wireless solution using GPRS for all the industrial protocols like TCP/IP, Modbus, Modbus TCP/IP, IEC-101, IEC-104, etc. You can find a better solution for your system with this solution.

For any kind of support you can login to http://www.pmas.in or mail at [email protected]

Maxstream (now digi) has 2 900 mhz modems for less than 700 bucks for the pair .. point to point .. no config.. just plug them in..

They work good!!

I have currently (10) 1100E working at a Water Plant on a wireless network. Before I installed them I tested them in my shop with Maxstream, Datalinc and Synetcom wireless radios. I had no problems with any of them. You will have to be more specific on what issues you are facing. One thing to check is the firmware. If your 1100Es have firmware 3 or below you need to upgrade them. Firmware 3 and below have Ethernet communication problems. Also make sure you are not messaging your information too frequently, AB has an extremely cumbersome overhead in their IP packages.
