We are migrating our WDPF dcs to ovation. Emerson has proposed to change or westnet 2 data highway from bus topology to tree (ethernet with cisco switches).
Now the question is, what sort of method is used for routing data between drops or clients in bus topology. Manual says it is token ring which is quiet confusing. (bus and token ring????)
Secondly in ethernet networks what sort of routing technique is used in network layer?
