we are having to make frequency response tests for the grid operator on a frame 9 machine with a Speedtronic MK IV governor. GE have told us they use a special piece of equipment to make the frequency simulation which they are happy to quote for, estimated cost 60,000 USD....
Is there a quick and easy way of simulating a frequency deviation that the governor will react to?
