I have Panel Mark V LM for add alarms.

I open File: ALARM.DAT, ALLOCSSP.ASG, LONGNAME.DAT.

In ALLOCSSP.ASG and ALARM.DAT there isn't spare, there is 775 alarms configure for add alarm 776. After compilation I have a message for this alarm note located.

If there are no spare alarms available in ALLOCSSP.ASG, then there are no spare alarms available.

The Mark V control signal database is structured (hence, ALLOCSSP stands for Allocated Structured Software Points) and there are only a certain number points available which are tied to the alarm "queue". While I'm not very familiar with the Mark V LM panel, it is very similar (but different in many respects) to the "standard" Mark V.

Quite often, there are alarms which are unused which can be re-used. Otherwise, you need to "gang" a couple of non-critical related alarms to free up one if this alarm is critical and it must be added to the CSP.
