Can any one point me in the derection on how to set up an ASP web page that can control a plc connected on my com port "modbus RTU" , so i can see data over the internet.

In constructing ASP pages:

Do you just want to "see" data? Or do you also want to "flip switches"?

Please post a bit more info.

It's simple. With a good component that encapsulate Modbus protocol (via serial link or ethernet) and some knowledge of ASP programming the problem is done.

I'm in the final part of the development of a dll for the platform .NET, that encapsulates the protocol MODBUS (primary for serial links). If you want I can send you a demo, together with examples of as using it from vb.net, c# or asp.net.

I'm developing a dll that encapsulates the protocol modbus for the platform dotNet to be used in anyone of their languages ( VB.NET, C#, ... ). With this is simple to make an ASP.NET web page chord to your requirements, so much to see data of the PLC, like to "flip switches". If you want , i send to you a demo, with some examples of use.
