Simple, use the Schneider Modbus TCP/IP Etherenet to Modbus Serial (RS232/485) Bridge (pn CEV 174 300 20). Well tested and successfully implemented by several users. The bridge can be configured via serial or Enet connections. Supports 2 way message transactions and programming. The Modbus serial network will support a Modbus Master device or a network of Modbus Slave devices.
