Where can I find information about ModBus II? is it possible to add an equipment that talks modbus II in a normal modbus network?

 

Modbus II, eh? If my memory serves me correctly, this was a unique blend of ModbusPlus addressing encapsulated for use with the high-speed serial links required to a gateway in the old MAP/TOP broadband days.

I've never seen any formal specs on this - nor even any products (beyond ModSoft) that supportted it. I think you will save money not trying to reuse the Modbus II stuff. Either convert or replace them with normal Modbus protocol devices.
