Please suggest me some Modbus plus PCI card which can communicate with modplus devices.
I know about Modicon's AS 80 and Applicom's Modbus plus card. They are too costly.
Is there some cheaper option available ?

 

Schneider Electric (Modicon) offers the following:

416NHM30030 Modbus PLUS PCI Adapter Single Port
416NHM30032 Modbus Plus PCI Adapter Dual Port

Both versions come with the required MB+ Drivers for Microsoft Windows 95, 98, NT 4.0, ME, 2000 and XP

Please contact your local Schneider sales office or distributor and ask for the part 416NHM30030 (MB+ PCI interface with single port) or 416NHM30032 (MB+ PCI interface with dual port).

Those interfaces are available since year 2000.
