I am looking for a set of MODBUS points lists and format for PV generation and storage systems communication. These points lists will be used to map onto IEC 61850 object model.

Please feel free to email me at <[email protected]> if you have any information regarding on my issue.

By PV, do you mean photovotaic solar?

If so, then the closest to a 'standard' you can find is at http://www.sunspec.org, where they are defining Modbus layouts for meters, inverters, PV modules and arrays, and environmental sensors.

I am quite active in their work, the crown document probably being the logger interface to be used to upload data for web services.

SunSpec isn't trying to define local data comms - the Modbus maps are largely an abstraction, a well-defined list of data points and attributes.

This market is unique in that:
1) the data users are 95% remote and NOT related to the device makers

2) the device makers tend to either use Modbus, or proprietary, unpublished protocols.

So SunSpec's defining of the data interface is gaining wide aceptance at least at the logger/gateway/upload layer.
