Modbus RS485 to FO modbus TCP

I have device with RS485 Modbus RTU connection.
Question is, if simple serial media converter from RS485 to FO will make Modbus works. If not do you know any reliable supplier to convert Modbus RTU from RS485 copper wire to multimode FO preferably with MTRJ connector (ST might also be OK)
