Hi, I have a Modbus Master with 3 slaves using 2-wire 485 configuration. My customer wants to bring all of the slave connections to one central place rather than daisy chaining from one device to another. Is it possible to daisy chain in the control cabinet like in the picture below?

 

1. This RS-485 hub device appears to allow for a star type network by replicating the message at the RS-485 input on each of the four RS-485 outputs. Multiple hubs can be daisy-chained for more than 4 RS-485 outputs. I have not used this device; I just am aware of it.
