I am setting up a demo kit for a communications gateway and would like add a small Modbus slave simulator (low cost) for a little more realism.
Not a PC based (I want to mount it in a plastic frame).
I considered a nano Schneider PLC but that would still cost $100-$200.
Is there something out there say $20-30, just a chip on a board with some potentiometers as inputs for simulation and with a serial port for pushing out the data? thanks.
