Modbus TCP _ Slave address

Hi
I am using modbus poll simulator to communicate with eurotherm paperless recorder model 5100V However while i change the slave ID in the simulation the communication is still up and working but the case does not apply with the next version of eurotherm 6100A. The modbus TCP link works only if the master id = device address

How to ignore the slave address in the 6100A ?
