I am required to develop the backend by which I have to collect various type of data and log it into a database from numerous machines.
The computer is connected to the Modbus Converter through Ethernet which in turn is looped to many Inverters using 485 standard.
I need to know how can easily do this. I am completely new to modbus so haven't got the slightest idea.
All kinds of suggestions are welcome.
What I have in mind is that there would probably be some methods by which I could communicate with the Modbus TCP/IP converter telling the device what I want and the device in return fetching the data for me.
I used modbusscan32 software to test out and now I am trying to retrieve the data using my own methods.
