We are in the process of building a process control system using VxWorks/OS9 Single board computers. Planning to use InTouch of Wonderware as HMI. I would like to know if there is any standard easily portable MODBUS TCP IP driver source code available.

 

Just downloaded example from "www.modbus.org":http://www.modbus.org site in the developer discussion area (must register). I haven't looked at it yet but text said it included C++ VB and Java examples of modbus TCP/IP. These are only examples and may need refinment.

We also purchased a canned activex one from InGear. I havn't used it for TCP/IP but the serial version work well.
