Trying to connect US robotics modem "db25" to compact plc 984 "db9" modbus. What is cable pin out. Will accept any and all help.

Call Schneider tech support 1-800-468-5342.
They will either fax/email pinout or tell you which manual it is in.

 

PLC is DTE and Modem is DCE so you start with 1:1 wiring. TX to TX, RX to RX etc.
