Is there anyone experienced Foundation Fieldbus communication protocol connected to Modicon PLC's?
Is there any modbus TCP/FF converter?

I'm evaluating to change field instrumentations with Profibus DP protocol. I suppose is better, but...

For process control, FF field instruments is the way to go.

Softing and some others have FF to Modbus/TCP gateway:

Why not use a system with "native" support for FF? There are plenty:

For instance, DeltaV makes it possible to fully leverage the power of FF without mapping through Modbus registers

I have already Modicon PLCs, but devices not yet.

My customer would like to buy FF devices, but I haven't ever used "softing" converter. Did you know if it's reliable and easy to use/program in Unity or whatever platform??

I think profibus DP devices are the same. Are they? But in this case I know how to implement them in my modicon PLC.
What do I have to choose?

Contact Softing for details. I don't think you need any programming. Just assign Modbus registers

Profibus-DP is not the same as FF. They are very different. For field instruments, use FF. For variable speed drives and motor starters, use Profibus-DP
