I am looking at obtaining some help in programming my Omron CS1 PLC and setting the comms port for communication to VSD's on a Modbus network.

a gateway interface, that allows any PLC to talk
to any PLC.

Check that the PLC port can support RTU slave or master. You will need to know who will be the master so you can set the other device(s) as slave. Once you have determined this, it's just a matter of getting the cabling correct. I can help with that if you give me port pinouts for both ports.
