We have numerous electric vibrators on coal chutes throughout the plant, many in locations that are not easily accessable or people friendly. During rain barrages, the coal gets wet and sticky causing the operations crew to write up "vibrators not working" work orders. Vibrators are checked and found "OK". Next storm, we go thru the same routine. Any recommendations for devices to monitor the vibration intensity which could be fed into our SCADA system? Low cost would make the Bosses smile! Thanks!
