Motorised valve position and torque limit switches are wired to Electrical protection logic in Motor control centre (MCC) or process logic in control panel/system?

That depends on your controller and the system safety requirements - I generally do not wire them to the safety system because our controller stops all motion in the direction of the limit when the switch is triggered (all done in hardware). If there is a critical failure and motion continues in that direction then we throw an error and kill all motion.

If you're driving it through a reversing starter in the MCC, the switches should be wired directly to the starter, not through any other system.

Most single phase motorised valves the limits are wired between the input (Forward/Reverse) terminals and the motor winding.
