MSG SLC500 to PLC5

Does anyone know if it is possible to comm. between a SLC505 to a PLC5 using ethernet? If so, how?

Yes, if the PLCs are new enough. Newer Ethernet PLC5s will message by Ethernet. In the PLC5 message block set the PLC5 port to 2 and press enter. Select multihop YES for the target device. On the multihop tab input the IP address of the target SLC. Fill out the rest of the message block as usual with data table addresses.
