We want to replace 1771-AF fiber optic module drops carying DH+ that are no longer needed with regular fiber optic repeaters. Does anyone know of a fiber repeater that will work with DH+ besides 1771-AF ?

We can't completely remove the existing AF because besides being an unused DH+ drop, the AFs are needed because of the exceptionally long segment distances.

Both Phoenix Digital and Weed Instruments make fiber optic converters that are compatible with A-B's DH+/RIO network signalling.

I'm not sure how they compare with the old 1771-AF for fiber compatibility and link length, but they are both worth a look.

We have used Westermo MD-63 (point to point), LD-63 (multidrop) and LD-64 (redundant ring) for transmitting DH+/RIO over fibre.
