Need expert input for publication about control security

I'm an independent writer, working under contract for a controls manufacturer. I'm seeking input, for publication, from someone who is up-to-date on security issues, and who is brand neutral. It would require a 15-20 minute interview, followed by review and approval of a brief (400 words) solution to a hypothetical challenge. Total time spent is less than an hour. It will be published online and promoted proactively to executive-level readers in power-gen and process industries. I'll provide complete disclosure of details to anyone who is interested.

I would suggest contacting Eric Byres at Byres Security. This subject is his specialty and I am not aware of anyone who would know it better than he does.

You might also want to contact Ralf Langner (Langner Communications GmbH). He also works in this area.

Most people who do actual industrial automation projects actually know very little about security. The most dangerous ones tend to be the ones who *think* they know what they are doing and that everything will be fine if they just click on the right buttons in MS Windows (if security was that easy, the buttons would be clicked to begin with, wouldn't they?)
