Networking a MICRO PLC with 15 VFD (ATV 31) in Modbus serial Link communicaion

I have a network witch consist of a Micro plc and i'll connect it with 15 speed drive Telemecanique ATV31, the drives will take its all parameters from the plc via the Modbus serial link network. i want know if it applicable and what is the required component configuration required for this system.

How many sockets per the Modbus splitter?
