One (somewhat complex) method is to reduce the ID fan inlet vanes (at fast speed) by a preset proportion of initial position, hold for a calculated time and then restore by a (different) proportion of initial position and hold before allowing resumption of furnace pressure control. Comments and details of how the various times and proportions are calculated appreciated.
