I am trying to find a component for Visual Basic 6 that will list active error messages in the order in which they occured. This should be similar to an alarm panel like on a panel view or Total Control terminal screen. Can anyone suggest either where to find one or some ideas on writing one?

You could use one of the many spreadsheet activeX controls out there to do the job - feed the data to the grid/spreadsheet control and tell it to sort on the time/date column ascending or descending and you're off to the races.
