I'm looking for a rough price estimate of I&C cost in an oil pipe line(%age of the total cost.

Is there any thumb rule for the rough cost of the over all oil pipe line .. say $xxx per 100 km?
Any one who knows the overall project cost of any pipe line?

We have done I&C for pipeline in India. The cost depends on the Level of Automation you are including it the system.
Details as to communication media between RTUs and Central Control Station, Measurment parameters, ambient environment, etc.
