Omron as Modbus master to Modbus slaves.

I have a CQM1H with the SCB41 board. I cannot for the life of me find how to communicate via Modbus through the 232 and 485 port on the SCB41 board. The manual I have is not helpful at all. I am not sure how we are to set up for the Modbus protocol. I am familiar with AB and have a limited amount of time to learn Omron inside and out. Any help and or code would help a great deal. Thanks for your time.

I am not qualified to advise you how to configure your Omron to be used as a Modbus device. I can offer a protocol converter that can be connected between an Omron Host Link port and Modbus. The Modbus side can be either a Modbus Master or a Modbus Slave. The Host Link port is always a Master port. There is no PLC programming required. Look here for a data sheet:
