I want to connect a Omron plc with remote I/O at a distance of 1.5 km. can anybody suggest me omron plc with such kind of facility?

If I were to do such a project the best way to do it is to use a Ethernet connection, having a PLC at each end with a ethernet module in each, and you can write code to connect between the two and share the I/O that way.

 

At 1500m, the only thing that I could suggest would be Omron Controller Link. Consider using CJ1M as your remote I/O for a larger PLC such as CS1.

 

If your controller coontain RS-232, then you must use radiomodem, GSM (CDMA).

 

Why not use ethernet and use a couple of ethernet radios?
