Anybody already used any commercial software to connect OPC server to read and write data blocks of PLC. The recipe data is taken from Excel and again placed back into excel for analysis.

Please give me any idea how to go with this.

You may also want to look at FasTrak SoftWorks, ControlShop product. ControlShop allows unlimited data logging and trending and ir is OPC compatible. It will give you the canned interface for specific Logging/Trending criteria, and it will work with the Kepware OPC driver mentioned in this post.
